At Mission Australia, we provide high-quality aged care for people who have experienced homelessness or disadvantage. You’ll have a private room, 24/7 support from trained clinical staff, and help with meals, laundry, and daily living.

To live at one of our aged care homes, you must:
- Be aged 50 or older
- Receive a supported or concessional pension
- Own less than $67,000 in assets
- Be at risk of homelessness or living in unsuitable accommodation
- Be unable to self-care or access other aged care options

When you live in a Mission Australia aged care home, everything is designed to support your wellbeing, dignity and independence.
You’ll have your own private room with an ensuite, as well as shared spaces to relax or connect with others. Meals are cooked onsite by qualified chefs and catering teams, with a focus on nutrition and enjoyment.
Our team takes care of cleaning, laundry and maintenance so you don’t have to. You’ll also receive help with personal hygiene and dressing, plus 24/7 support from onsite nurses.
Health professionals including GPs, physiotherapists, dieticians, dentists and pharmacists support your physical and mental wellbeing. We also manage medications and appointments, and offer palliative care when needed.
You can take part in social, leisure and lifestyle activities onsite and offsite. We can also offer spiritual care, help with finances, and support accessing the NDIS and other services.

As a resident of a Mission Australia aged care home, there are 4 main fees that you may be asked to pay.
- Basic daily care fee
- Means-tested care fee
- Accommodation fee payment or contribution
- Additional services fees

Though Mission Australia does not provide voluntary assisted dying (VAD) services, we will not stop residents from accessing information on VAD. Nor will we stop a resident from accessing services they wish to pursue VAD and are assessed as being eligible.
Mission Australia respects the wishes of residents who want to live and die with comfort and dignity. We will continue to provide care and show compassion to those residents who would like to pursue VAD and are eligible.
