Yes. Mission Australia provides specialist aged care housing for older people who need a safe, secure place to live. We support older people who may be experiencing housing insecurity, disadvantage or homelessness, providing a welcoming community where people feel safe, included and at home. Alongside accommodation, residents can access tailored support that promotes wellbeing, dignity and independence.
Specialist aged care housing combines safe and affordable accommodation with personalised support for older people. Residents have access to 24/7 support, assistance with daily living, and opportunities for social connection, while maintaining as much independence and dignity as possible. Our aged care homes are designed to support physical and mental wellbeing in a caring community where people are seen, heard and valued.
Social housing is for people on very low incomes, often through government programs. Affordable housing is for low-income workers who can’t afford market rent.
