Increased participation and stronger communities

Delivering employment, financial support and place-based programs to empower individuals and local communities.

What we do

At Mission Australia, we provide services and initiatives that support people to participate in society and their communities.

We help people build skills and secure jobs through our specialist pre-employment, education and training services.

For those facing hardship, we provide access to immediate support through emergency relief. Our financial counsellors provide support to people having trouble paying bills or managing money.

Creating safer, more inclusive communities together

Through our justice support services, we walk alongside people seeking advocacy and support to rebuild their lives, navigate the justice system, and avoid reoffending.

We also collaborate with local leaders and organisations on initiatives that strengthen communities. Programs like our Communities of Focus and Community Chaplaincy bring people together to build stronger, safer, and more inclusive places where everyone is supported.

What we advocate for

We advocate for stronger support to help end poverty and create a fairer, more compassionate employment services system. We want to build communities where people feel supported, connected and empowered to lead lasting change. With the right investment, we can ensure more people have the tools and opportunities to thrive.
