Inclusive communities for people with disability
Enabling choice, opportunity and community connection for people with disability to lead their best lives.
What we do
At Mission Australia, we work with people with disability and their families, helping them to access the disability support system and connecting them with the support services they seek. Our NDIS Local Area Coordination and early childhood programs help people make the choices that are right for them, and access the specialist support they need.
We also collaborate with local groups and providers to create more inclusive, accessible and welcoming communities for all.
People with disability should have access, be included, feel they belong and have the support they seek to lead fulfilling lives. Our communities should make that possible.
What we advocate for
We’re working to reform the disability support system so it’s fair, sustainable and empowers people with disability to live with independence, choice and control. Our advocacy is grounded in evidence, lived experience and a vision for an inclusive Australia.
