For more than 15 years, Mission Australia Housing has provided safe, affordable homes for people and families who need them. With 4,600+ social and affordable homes and 8,000 residents supported across five states and territories, we bring proven scale, strong governance, and deep community commitment.

Our housing models and approach
We deliver three housing models: social, affordable and supported housing, each designed to meet the needs of people seeking safe, affordable housing. This includes older Australians, people on low incomes, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and those with disability or complex needs.
Alongside this, our Vibrant Communities approach focuses on safety, inclusion and sustainability, ensuring residents have a voice in shaping welcoming neighbourhoods.
Safe homes for people on very low incomes
We provide long-term, subsidised rental homes for people on very low incomes or experiencing homelessness. Social housing offers security and stability, with rents set at around 25% of income. We work closely with state governments to ensure homes go to people and families who need them.
Our track record
Since 2008, Mission Australia Housing has delivered more than 4,600 homes across five states and territories, providing safe, affordable housing at scale. Our programs include:
- Midtown MacPark, NSW – 389 social & affordable homes in a major urban renewal.
- Townsville Youth Foyer, QLD – 40 supported tenancies for young people.
- Darwin, NT – 251 social homes managed in partnership with government.
- Future pipeline – Intention to grow to 10,000 homes nationally.
